What the notice says The power steering assist cylinder mounting bracket bolts may loosen on these vehicles. a detached power cylinder could cause restricted steering and sever the front brake hose which would result in loss of front axle braking. a vehicle crash could result from either condition. correction: anchor bracket attaching … Is your vehicle included? A DETACHED POWER CYLINDER COULD CAUSE RESTRICTED STEERING AND SEVER THE FRONT BRAKE HOSE WHICH WOULD RESULT IN LOSS OF FRONT AXLE BRAKING. A VEHICLE CRASH COULD RESULT FROM EITHER CONDITION. CORRECTION: ANCHOR BRACKET ATTACHING FASTENERS WILL BE REPLACED WITH NEW BOLTS, HARDENED FLAT WASHERS AND PREVAILING TORQUE NUTS AND TORQUED TO PROPER SPECIFICATIONS.
