TRAILERS WITH SLIDING SUSPENSIONS COULD EXPERIENCE PREMATURE WEAR OF THE SUSPENSION SLIDER FRAME RETAINING ANGLES INDICATED BY ELONGATION OF THE LOCK BAR HOLES. THE SUSPENSION SLIDER FRAME LOCK BAR COULD DEFORM THE BOTTOM OF THE SLIDER FRAME RETAINING ANGLE AND TEAR OUT OF THE RETAINING ANGLE. THE SLIDER FRAME WOULD THEN SLIDE IMMEDIATELY TO THE REAR OF THE TRAILER WHICH COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL. CORRECTION: TRAILERS WILL BE INSPECTED AND IF REQUIRED, A 1/4 INCH DOUBLE PLATE WILL BE FITTED TO THE EXISTING SLIDER RETAINING ANGLE AND THE LOCK BAR HOLE WILL BE REBUILT TO ORIGINAL SPECIFICATIONS.
