It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. FAULTY FUSE BLOCK WIRING TERMINALS MAY RESULT IN AN INADEQUATE CLAMPING LOAD AT THE POSITIVE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION OF THE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR FUSE BLADES. THIS MAY CAUSE AN INCREASE IN ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE THAT COULD OVERHEAT AND POSSIBLY IGNITE THE FUSE BLOCK AND TERMINAL WIRING, RESULTING IN AN INSTRUMENT PANEL FIRE. CORRECTION: FUSE BLOCK TERMINAL WILL BE MODIFIED TO ENSURE ADEQUATE CLAMP LOAD ON THE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR FUSE BLADES. Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published. The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers.
