On certain vehicles, the Bendix SR-7 check valve inside the valve cavity may not properly seat, causing internal air leakage. The resulting leakage can cause a delay on the application of the spring brakes to park the vehicle after the operator pulls the dash valve button. This delay can occur without warning and possibly contribute to a vehicle roll away. A roll away may result in a vehicle crash, that can cause property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect all subject vehicles, if the suspect valve is found, it will be replaced. The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers.
