"excerpt": "Cooper Cs5 P225/50R17. Published by Transport Canada as 2021092 on 24 February 2021. System: Tires. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at Transport Canada , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. Issue: Certain tires were built without enough rubber in the shoulder slot area of the tire tread. As a result, cracks could start forming in the slot or base area of the tread. This could cause a tire vibration and/or abnormal noise. If you continue to drive with this problem, the tread could separate from the tire and cause it to fail. Note: This recall is an expansion of recall 2020-440. This problem affects tires with the following date codes: 2920 to 3220, 4220 to 4420 and 5120 to 0121 Safety Risk: A tire failure could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Cooper Tires will send a letter to registered owners to advise them of this problem. You should contact a Cooper Tire dealer if you have tires with these date codes or if you need help inspecting them. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced.
