"excerpt": "Segway Max G30P, Max G30Lp. Published by Transport Canada as 2025206 on 14 April 2025. System: Structure. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at Transport Canada , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. Issue: Under certain conditions, the scooter could fold while in use. If this happens, there could be a loss of control and/or you could fall from the scooter. Note: As these scooters aren't included in a prescribed class of vehicle, this action is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: A loss of control could create the risk of a fall and/or injury. Corrective Actions: Segway advises that you should inspect and, as necessary, tighten the folding mechanism before riding your scooter. To request a free self-maintenance kit and instructions for how to inspect and tighten the folding mechanism, or if you have questions, you can contact Segway by calling 1-800-914-6110, visiting https://service.segway.com/us-en/recall, or emailing recall@segway.com.
