"excerpt": "Ford F-650 Sd, Ford F-750, model year 2011. Filed by Ford Motor Company and reported to NHTSA on 3 May 2011. 93 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Ford is recalling certain model year 2011 f-650 and f-750 trucks, equipped with air brakes and a trailer package or tractor package, for an incorrectly programmed abs module. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 121, \"air brake systems (abs).\" Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Ford's own number for this recall: 11C17. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 11V264 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “AN AFFECTED VEHICLE MAY NOT DISPLAY A TRAILER ABS FAULT IN THE CAB OF THE TRUCK WARNING THE DRIVER OF AN EXISTING TRAILER ABS FAILURE. SUCH AN ABS FAILURE MAY RESULT IN TRAILER BRAKE LOCK-UP, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.” 11V264 FORD MOTOR COMPANY Service Brakes, Air:Antilock:Control Unit/Module 3 May 2011 2011-2011 FORD F-650 SD, FORD F-750 AN AFFECTED VEHICLE MA",
