"excerpt": "Jaguar Xf, model year 2012. Filed by Jaguar Land Rover North America, Llc and reported to NHTSA on 28 December 2011. 51 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Jaguar is recalling certain model year 2012 xf vehicles, manufactured from september 7, 2011, through november 24, 2011, for an incorrect certification label. since the gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr) is stated incorrectly, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of part 567, “certification.” Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Jaguar's own number for this recall: J025. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 11V604 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “CUSTOMERS MAY UNKNOWINGLY EXCEED THE GVWR. EXCEEDING THE GVWR OF THE VEHICLE, CAN LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLE STABILITY, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.” 11V604 JAGUAR LAND ROVER NORTH AMERICA, LLC Equipment:Other:Labels 28 December 2011 2012-2012 JAGUAR XF CUSTOMERS MAY UNKNOWINGLY EXCEED THE GVWR.
