"excerpt": "Hyundai Santa Fe, model years 2007 to 2009. Filed by Hyundai Motor Company and reported to NHTSA on 25 July 2012. 199,118 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Hyundai is recalling certain model year 2007 through 2009 Santa Fe vehicles manufactured from April 19, 2006, through July 7, 2008. The occupant classification system (OCS) may need recalibration to accurately detect small statured adults. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Hyundai's own number for this recall: 105. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 12V354 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “Improper classification or detection may cause the front passenger airbag not to deploy in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to the front passenger.” 12V354 Hyundai Motor Company Air Bags:Frontal:Sensor/Control Module-Inactive 25 July 2012 2007-2009 HYUNDAI SANTA FE Improper classification or detection may cause the front passenger airbag not to deploy in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to ",
