"excerpt": "Terex Al4, Terex Rl4, model years 2013 to 2014. Filed by Terex Aerial Work Platforms and reported to NHTSA on 29 January 2014. 3,000 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Terex Aerial Work Platforms (Terex Aerial) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 AL4 and RL4 light towers. Due to a missing plug, water may enter the electrical connection that controls the lighting, causing arcing inside the connection. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Terex's own number for this recall: 140001. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 14V025 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “Loss of lighting in low light conditions could result in an increased risk of injury to those depending on the lights for jobsite safety.” 14V025 Terex Aerial Work Platforms Electrical System 29 January 2014 2013-2014 TEREX AL4, TEREX RL4 Loss of lighting in low light conditions could result in an increased risk of injury to those depending on the lights for jobsite safety.
