"excerpt": "Nova Bus Lfs, model years 2010 to 2015. Filed by Nova Bus and reported to NHTSA on 5 April 2016. 430 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Nova Bus (Nova) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 Nova LFS transit buses manufactured from August 10, 2010, through November 5, 2015. The affected seats have J-Brackets that may be missing welds which could allow the seat belt anchorage assembly to separate from the J-Bracket. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Nova Bus's own number for this recall: CR3632. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 16V191 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “If the seat belt anchorage assembly separates from the J-Bracket, the bus driver may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash increasing their risk of injury.” 16V191 Nova Bus Seats 5 April 2016 2010-2015 NOVA BUS LFS If the seat belt anchorage assembly separates from the J-Bracket, the bus driver may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash increasing their risk of injury.
