"excerpt": "Newmar Ventana, Newmar Ventana Le, model years 2015 to 2016. Filed by Newmar Corporation and reported to NHTSA on 4 May 2016. 59 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Ventana, and Ventana LE vehicles manufactured March 27, 2015, to February 8, 2016, built on a Freightliner chassis. The front sway bar mounting brackets may not fit properly on the axle causing the mounting bolts to bend or loosen. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Newmar's own number for this recall: 16V 208. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 16V270 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “If the sway bar bolts loosen, the sway bar may detach from the axle, affecting the handling and increasing the risk of a crash.” 16V270 Newmar Corporation Suspension:Front:Stabilizer Bar 4 May 2016 2015-2016 NEWMAR VENTANA, NEWMAR VENTANA LE If the sway bar bolts loosen, the sway bar may detach from the axle, affecting the handling and increasing the risk o",
