"summary": "Recall 18V383 (Keystone): If the wooden assembly is exposed to high temperatures, there would be an increased risk of a fire. Keystone's own number: 18-322.",
"excerpt": "Keystone Cougar, model years 2018 to 2019. Filed by Keystone RV Company and reported to NHTSA on 7 June 2018. 5,151 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Keystone Cougar recreational trailers equipped with an outdoor propane grill. The outdoor propane grill is installed in a wooden assembly that may not have enough clearance from the heated area. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Keystone's own number for this recall: 18-322. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 18V383 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “If the wooden assembly is exposed to high temperatures, there would be an increased risk of a fire.” 18V383 Keystone RV Company Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer 7 June 2018 2018-2019 KEYSTONE COUGAR If the wooden assembly is exposed to high temperatures, there would be an increased risk of a fire. Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will replace the wooden assembly with a metal assembly, free of charge",
