"excerpt": "Karma Revero, model year 2018. Filed by Karma Automotive LLC and reported to NHTSA on 23 July 2018. 50 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Karma Automotive LLC (Karma) is recalling certain 2018 Karma Revero vehicles. The driver's side exterior rearview mirrors may be made with convex, not flat glass. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, \"Rearview Mirrors.\" Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Karma's own number for this recall: RC-18-78-01. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 18V488 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “When using the incorrect rearview mirrors, the driver may fail to realize how close a vehicle or object actually is, increasing the risk of a crash.” 18V488 Karma Automotive LLC Visibility:Rearview Mirrors/Devices:Exterior 23 July 2018 2018-2018 KARMA REVERO When using the incorrect rearview mirrors, the driver may fail to realize how close a vehicle or object actually is, inc",
