"excerpt": "Heartland Mallard, Heartland North Trail, Heartland Pioneer, Heartland Prowler, Heartland Sundance Xlt Tt, Heartland Trail Runner, model year 2019. Filed by Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC and reported to NHTSA on 21 September 2018. 622 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2019 Heartland Mallard, Pioneer, Sundance XLT, Wilderness, North Trail, Prowler and Trail Runner travel trailers. The axles may be missing inner bearing races on the hubs, which can cause the bearing to burnout or cause the hub to overheat. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Heartland's own number for this recall: 99.01.40. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 18V634 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “The missing bearing race may cause premature hub bearing failure, possibly resulting in a separation of the hub from the axle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.” 18V634 Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC Suspension:Rear:Axle:",
