"excerpt": "Volvo S60, Volvo S60cc, Volvo S60i, Volvo V60, Volvo V60cc, model years 2011 to 2017. Filed by Volvo Car USA LLC and reported to NHTSA on 26 November 2019. 144,937 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Volvo Car of USA LLC (Volvo) is recalling certain 2011-2017 S60, S60I, V60, S60CC and V60CC vehicles. A component within the door latches may break, making the doors difficult to latch and/or leading the driver or a passenger to believe a door is securely closed when, in fact, it is not. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Volvo's own number for this recall: R89978. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 19V849 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways.
