"excerpt": "Coachmen Sportscoach, Forest River Berkshire, Forest River Legacy, model years 2018 to 2021. Filed by Forest River, Inc. and reported to NHTSA on 17 September 2020. 1,000 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Coachmen Sportscoach and Forest River Legacy and 2018-2021 Berkshire motorhomes built on a Daimler Trucks (DTNA) chassis. The tire valve stem extension for the inner wheel may come in contact with the outer wheel rim opening and become damaged. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Forest River's own number for this recall: 51-1228. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 20V562 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “Extensive damage to the valve stem extension may result in a loss of tire pressure of the inner wheel, increasing the risk of a crash.” 20V562 Forest River, Inc.
