"excerpt": "Keystone Hideout, model year 2020. Filed by Keystone RV Company and reported to NHTSA on 2 October 2020. 10 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2020 Hideout 290LHS recreational trailers. These vehicles were incorrectly built with 3500 pound axles and ST205/75R14D tires and rims rather than the 4400 pound axles and ST225/75R15D tires and rims as specified on the Federal Identification Tag. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Keystone's own number for this recall: 20-388. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 20V606 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “The incorrect axle, tires and rims can result in the operator overloading the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.” 20V606 Keystone RV Company Suspension:Rear:Axle:Non-Powered Axle Assembly 2 October 2020 2020-2020 KEYSTONE HIDEOUT The incorrect axle, tires and rims can result in the operator overloading the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
