"excerpt": "Newmar Dutch Star, Newmar Essex, Newmar King Aire, Newmar London Aire, Newmar Mountain Aire, Newmar New Aire, model years 2019 to 2021. Filed by Newmar Corporation and reported to NHTSA on 9 September 2021. 1,554 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019-2021 London Aire, Dutch Star, Essex, King Aire, Mountain Aire, 2020-2021 Ventana, and 2021 New Aire recreational vehicles. The instrument cluster may intermittently go blank while the vehicle is in motion. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Newmar's own number for this recall: 21V-589. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 21V700 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “A blank instrument cluster display may be missing critical information such as the vehicle's speed and warning lights, which can increase the risk of a crash.” 21V700 Newmar Corporation Electrical System:Instrument Cluster/Panel 9 September 2021 2019-2021 NEWMAR DUTCH STAR, NEWMAR ESSEX, NEWMAR KING AIRE, NEWMAR LON",
