"excerpt": "Jayco Eagle, Jayco Eagle Ht, Jayco Jay Flight, Jayco Jay Flight Slx, Jayco North Point, Jayco Pinnacle, model years 2022 to 2023. Filed by Jayco, Inc. and reported to NHTSA on 4 August 2022. 11,532 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Eagle, Eagle HT, Jayflight, Jayflight SLX, North point, Pinnacle, and Seismic travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Jayco's own number for this recall: 9901578. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 22V571 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.” 22V571 Jayco, Inc.
