"excerpt": "Altec Aa55, Altec Am55, Altec An46, Altec An55, model years 2022 to 2023. Filed by Altec Industries, Inc. and reported to NHTSA on 23 December 2025. 18 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Altec Industries, Inc.(Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2023 AA55, 2023 AM55, AN46, and AN55 vehicles. A check valve that retains oil in the boom hoses may not have been installed, allowing a vacuum to form and reducing the upper boom’s insulation. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. It is not the authority, and the authority’s own text is the one to act on. CarsMultiverse / Recalls Altec's own number for this recall: CSN 3272. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 25V909 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “Reduced insulation can conduct electricity to the operator or others touching the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury and death.” 25V909 Altec Industries, Inc.
