"excerpt": "Volvo Vnl (4), model years 2024 to 2027. Filed by Volvo Trucks North America and reported to NHTSA on 10 February 2026. 800 vehicles potentially affected. What the notice says Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024-2027 VNL (4) vehicles that do not include auxiliary parking brakes. If the vehicle is in weight bias mode there may not be enough weight on the parking brake axle, which could result in inadequate parking brake force. Is your vehicle included? Check with your VIN at NHTSA , or ask a dealer. This page is an independent copy of the notice, kept so you can see what changed after it was published. That is the number on the owner letter and on the dealer paperwork. 26V076 is the number NHTSA gave the same campaign, and the number this page is filed under. They are one recall, written two ways. Answered from the register this site holds. NHTSA is the record to act on. What the authority says can happen if this is not fixed: “Inadequate parking brake force can result in a rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.” 26V076 Volvo Trucks North America Parking Brake 10 February 2026 2024-2027 VOLVO VNL (4) Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024-2027 VNL (4) vehicles that do not include auxiliary parking brakes.
