Concern

Internal combustion engine may not perform as expected

Defect, as DVSA words it

The Internal Combustion Engine may not operate correctly. DTCs will be generated the engine-warning lamp will illuminate and the combination meter will display a message. In the worst case the internal combustion engine will fail to start and charge the main traction battery. If the warnings are ignored the main traction battery will become depleted and the vehicle will lose all drive.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and apply countermeasure software to the ECU and replace the spark plugs with ones of approved specification.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
