If you ask for the weekly digest, this site keeps your email address, the day you asked, the day you confirmed and the day the last message went out, in a table of its own. It is used for that one message a week and nothing else, it is never passed to anyone, and every message carries a link that removes it. Removing it deletes the row rather than marking it. A request nobody confirms is thrown away after seven days.
If you ask to be told when a recall notice changes, your email address and the page you asked about are stored on this site until you unsubscribe, which every message lets you do in one click. The address is confirmed before anything is stored for use, is used only to send that message, and is never shared or sold. A request that is not confirmed within seven days is deleted.
Each page view sends a small beacon to this site; the address and browser are hashed with a key that changes daily and the hash is deleted after two days; nothing personal is kept; bots that do not run scripts are not counted. No cookie is set and no third party receives the data. The count is public.
