Short version: CarsMultiverse is free to read. It is paid for partly by advertising and partly by affiliate links. Neither ever decides which recalls appear, what a notice says, or how a change is described.
Who we are
CarsMultiverse is published by A.I.T. Multiverse Consulting Ltd, Nicosia, Cyprus. It is an independent website. It is not a government agency, a safety authority or a vehicle manufacturer, and nothing on it replaces the official recall notice.
Advertising
Some pages show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Ads are placed around the record, never inside a quoted notice, and never beside an instruction not to drive a vehicle. Every ad slot is labelled Advertisement.
Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure them. Whether ads are personalised depends on your choice:
- Readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, through Google's consent message, which is certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Nothing that needs consent runs before you answer.
- You can change your choice at any time with Privacy and cookie settings at the foot of every page.
- You can also manage ad personalisation in Google's ad settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
No advertiser has seen, reviewed or paid for any page before it was published, and none can ask for a notice to be added, removed or reworded.
Affiliate links
Some links go to shops or services that pay us a small commission if you buy something after following the link. The price you pay is the same either way.
- Affiliate links are marked in the page as Affiliate links, and in the code with
rel="sponsored", so search engines know they are paid. - They sit under a notice, never inside it, and they are never the only way to act on a recall. The official register for each country is always linked first.
- A commission never decides which recalls, makes or models we cover, or what we say about them.
Sponsorship and paid services
A company may sponsor a register's index page. A sponsor is named on that page and on how this is paid for, and has no say over any notice. We also sell data licences and recall monitoring to businesses, described on work with us.
What nobody can buy
No manufacturer, dealer, insurer, advertiser, affiliate partner or authority can pay to add, alter, hide or reorder a record on this site. If that ever changes we will say so on this page, dated, before it takes effect.
