A record of what other people quietly changed is worth nothing if the record itself can be bought. So this page says who pays for this site, what they get for it, and what no amount of money buys. It is published before there is anything to sell, so that it cannot be written afterwards to fit.
Who pays for it now
A.I.T. Multiverse Consulting Ltd, in Nicosia, pays for it: the hosting, the reading jobs that fetch six national registers every day, and the time it takes to keep them honest. Nobody else has paid anything. No manufacturer, importer, dealer group or law firm has been offered anything here, and none has asked.
What money can buy
A licence to use this inside a product, a watch on a named set of vehicles, an integration, or a sponsor’s name on a register index. Those are set out on work with us.
What money does not buy
- Any change to a notice. Nothing in the register is altered, delayed, softened or removed for money. The register is the product. A register its customers can edit is not a register.
- Space inside a recall notice. No paid item appears on a notice page, in any form, ever.
- A say in the work. No commercial arrangement decides what is counted, what is published, or how a finding is worded.
- Quiet corrections. Errors are published dated and in public on the corrections page, and a paying company’s error is corrected exactly like anyone else’s.
- Exclusivity over a public record. The data stays free with attribution whatever anyone pays. What is sold is assurance, support and integration — never a monopoly on filings that belong to the public.
How you will know
Anything paid for carries the word Paid on the page it appears on, in the same size as the text around it, and says who paid. If you find something on this site that reads like an advertisement and is not labelled that way, it is a fault: say so, and it will be recorded and dated like any other.
This page is the standing policy, not a statement of intent. It applies from the first day anyone pays anything, and it is here first so that it cannot be quietly written afterwards to fit.
