Advertise on CarsMultiverse
CarsMultiverse keeps every version of a vehicle safety recall notice from seven national and European registers across 32 countries, including the versions the authority itself has replaced. People arrive at a specific moment: a recall has been announced, or they are checking whether one applies to the car on their drive.
This page sets out what can be bought, what cannot, and how anything commercial is labelled. If you run an affiliate programme, a brand or an agency, read it before writing to us.
What is never for sale
Read this first, because it rules out most of what people ask for.
- The record. No payment changes, delays, softens, hides or removes a recall notice, a version history or a rewrite we have caught. No manufacturer is told in advance that a change has been noticed.
- The findings. The measurements this site publishes, including how long owners wait to be told and which manufacturers are slowest, are not for sale and are not shown to anyone before publication.
- Editorial placement. No sponsored articles, no paid inclusion in any list, no paid links in the record.
- Reader data. Never sold, rented or shared.
These are not negotiable at any price, and they are exactly why appearing here is worth something.
What is available
Display advertising
Display inventory runs through Google AdSense on the notice pages, the manufacturer and model hubs and the findings. Units sit in fixed positions, are labelled “Advertisement”, and a unit Google does not fill collapses rather than leaving a blank band. Legal pages, the contact route and the pages explaining how this site is funded carry no advertising at all.
Affiliate placement
Possible on the guidance pages, never inside a recall notice. Every commercial link carries rel="sponsored" and a visible marker. Categories that genuinely fit this audience: vehicle history and VIN checks, diagnostic tools and OBD readers, replacement parts, and independent warranty comparison. We will say no to anything that competes with a free service the regulator already provides, because telling an owner to pay for something a manufacturer must do free is the one thing that would destroy this site.
Data and monitoring
The record is published under CC BY 4.0 and the API is open. If you need a private feed, a watch on a specific manufacturer or campaign list, or the version history in bulk, write to us and describe what you need.
Who reads this site
Readers are worldwide, arrive mostly from search at the moment a recall matters to them, and are split between owners checking one car and people following the record as a whole. Current figures for sessions, countries and devices are sent on request, taken from Google Analytics and Search Console with the reporting period stated. We do not publish numbers we cannot evidence.
Who we will not take
No advertiser whose product is subject to a recall we hold. No dealer or manufacturer advertising on a page about their own notice. Nothing making a safety claim it cannot evidence, and nothing selling a paid version of the free repair an owner is already entitled to.
How commercial content is labelled
Display units are labelled “Advertisement”. Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" and a visible marker. Nothing commercial is styled to look like part of the record. The policy is public and does not vary by advertiser.
