Concern

Brakes may fail

Defect, as DVSA words it

Contact may occur between the wiring harness and the ABS modulator. An electrical connection may be created via the brake line between the ABS modulator and the vehicle ground. For this to occur the wiring harness must be frayed and must be in contact with the ABS modulator and the brake line must be electrically conductive. A conductive brake line can overheat and ultimately melt which can result in failure of a brake system circuit.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary correct the routing of the wiring harness. If a wiring harness has been damaged the correct level of repair will be applied after advice is sought from the manufacturer.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
