Concern

Curtain airbags and seat belt pre-tensioners may deploy incorrectly

Defect, as DVSA words it

Due to improper programming of the airbag system in the Airbag Sensor Assembly (airbag control module) there is a possibility that the Airbag Sensor Assembly may erroneously detect a rollover and deploy the Curtain Shield Airbags (CSA) and seat belt pre-tensioners. The deployment of the CSA could cause minor injury to a vehicle occupant.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the Airbag Control Unit.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
