Concern

Suspension system failure

Defect, as DVSA words it

The rear suspension wishbone may not be correctly secured to the rear upright. It is required to fix the wishbone ball joint with a 12mm nut and washer. If the rear suspension has been assembled without the necessary washer this can lead to a suspension system failure which can in turn adversely affect the directional control.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check if the subject washers are fitted. Where necessary washers and a new nut will be fitted to the rear suspension.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
