Concern

Driver airbag may fracture during detonation

Defect, as DVSA words it

It has been identified that due to the incorrect assembly of the driver airbag inflator. If the vehicle is involved in a collision and the air bag is required to deploy then the gas flow path may have been blocked increasing the internal pressure within the inflator. As a result the driver airbag inflator casing may crack and fragment.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall all affected vehicle to inspect and where necessary replace driver airbag with a quality assured item.
