Concern

Brake fluid may leak

Defect, as DVSA words it

Some front right hand brake callipers were produced with an incorrect chamfer dimension. With an incorrect chamfer it is possible that the oil seal gets damaged and that a brake fluid leak occurs. If a leak occurs the driver will notice the illumination of the brake warning lamps.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the front right hand brake calliper.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
