Concern

Trailer i-catch may fail

Defect, as DVSA words it

The I CATCH boat to trailer locking device may be maladjusted and not properly securing the front end of the watercraft. If the rear latching straps are not used to properly secure the back end of the watercraft it is possible for the watercraft to slide off the trailer.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the trailers that are likely to be affected to install a safety cable on the front latch mechanism to affix an updated label to the trailer and to give the owner an updated user guide.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
