Transport Canada carries this recall as 2022206, dated 25 April 2022. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 22V273, dated 22 April 2022. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, TIF122.

The two registers are 3 days apart: the American entry is dated first, the Canadian one second.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 22V273, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn certain motorhomes, the hydraulic cylinder that moves the slide-out room may have a defective inner seal. As result, the slide-out room could extend from the motorhome while parked, or in rare cases, while driving. rnNote: Defective hydraulic cylinders list a manufacturing date that is before 03/01/2022 on the body of the cylinder. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA slide-out room that extends from the motorhome while driving could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, replace the hydraulic cylinder.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2022206.
