Concern

Heater may overheat

Defect, as DVSA words it

It has been identified that the potential exists for an over-heat situation within the unit which may be too great for the heat circulation fan housing This could cause the plastic material from which the housing is made to deform or in extreme circumstances to melt.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Subject heaters will be recalled and replaced with units whose fan housing plastics are constructed from a more substantial material. Additionally a heat shield will be added within the heater body.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
