On certain fifth wheels and travel trailers, the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) receptacles installed in the bathroom or kitchen area may not trip when a ground fault is present. This could result in a risk of electrical shock and cause a fire hazard. Correction: Dealer will replace the GFCI receptacle.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2004001.
