On certain vehicles, deformation of the fuel tank when the vehicle is operated in high ambient temperature conditions could cause a gap to form between the fuel tank mounting surface and the fuel pump gasket. This could result in fuel leakage and the possibility of fire. Correction: The fuel pump to tank gasket will be replace with an improved gasket that will prevent fuel leakage from the fuel pump/tank interface should tank deformation occur in high temperature conditions.
