VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 2.8 LITRE ENGINES. THE DUST TUBE PORTION OF THE ACCELERATOR CABLE ASSEMBLY WAS IMPROPERLY CRIMPED SO THAT THE SPRING GUIDE TUBE MAY BIND WHEN THE ACCELERATOR IS FULLY DEPRESSED. THIS CONDITION COULD REDUCE THE THROTTLE RETURN RATE OR PREVENT THE FULL CLOSURE OF THE THROTTLE PLATE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR IS RELEASED.
