Issue: rnOn certain CBR100RR-R (Fireblade SP) models, the rear shock connecting plate may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the plate may break suddenly while riding and cause a drop in vehicle height. If this happens, the stability and control of the motorcycle could be affected. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of stability or control could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnHonda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a Honda Powersport dealer to inspect the left and right rear shock connecting plates. If they are not correctly installed, they will be replaced.
