Issue: rnOn certain electric school buses, the power steering pump could fail when starting the vehicle or while driving. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power steering assist. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds, and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMicro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your school bus to a dealership to update the power steering pump software.
