On certain vehicles, the calibration of the front passenger seat Occupant Classification System (OCS) may not detect a small statured seat occupant if the occupant is sitting on the edge of the seat and remains stationary for a long period of time. As a result, the passenger frontal airbag may not deploy in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will update the software of the Occupant Classification System.
