Issue: rnA small number of tires may have been manufactured with a pinhole in the sidewall that may cause a slow air leak. Over time, this could lead to loss of air pressure that can cause reduced tire performance or result in a tire failure. rnNote: This recall only affects certain tires with a Tire Identification Number (TIN) date code of 2821. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBridgestone will send a letter to registered owners to advise you of this problem, and provide you with instructions for inspecting the tires. You should contact a Bridgestone or Firestone dealer if you need help inspecting them. Tires that are affected by this problem will be replaced.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2021520.
