Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the control module for the taillamps may not work properly. As a result, the rear turn signals, rear hazard warning lights, and reverse lights may not work properly. rnrnSafety Risk: rnTurn signals or reverse lights that do not work properly could cause road users to be confused of the driver's intentions. Hazard lights that do not work properly could make the vehicle less visible. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rear lighting control module software.
