1979-80 JEEP WAGONEER, CHEROKEE AND J10 TRUCKS. IMPROPER ASSEMBLY OF A SEAL AND RETAINER PLATE MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE REAR WHEEL BEARINGS PERMITTING A POSSIBLE SEPARATION OF THE WHEEL AND AXLE SHAFT COMPONENTS FROM THE VEHICLE WHILE IT IS IN MOTION.
