ON TRUCKS WITH MACK FA(W)616 OR 617 SERIES FRONT AXLE, THE CROSS STEERING LEVERS MAY BE IMPROPERLY HEAT-TREATED. THIS COULD REDUCE THEIR FATIQUE LIFE AND RESULT IN FAILURE. SUCH A FAILURE COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. rnCORRECTION:NEW LEVERS WILL BE INSTALLED.
