Certain three-wheeled vehicles may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 202 - Head Restraints. The vehicles imported from the U.S. to be sold in Canada are equipped with seats that do not meet the requirements of the Canadian standard. A thinner seatback and head restraint could increase the risk of injury to the occupants in the event of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the seats.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2017136.
