THESE VEHICLES MAY CONTAIN FRONT SUSPENSION CAM BOLTS WHICH MAY FAIL DUE TO ASSEMBLY MISALIGNMENT WHICH COUULD CAUSE THE BOLT TO BEND AND POSSIBLY CRACK DURING INSTALLATION. FAILURE OF THE BOLT MAY CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO PULL TO ONE SIDE WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. THIS COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.rnCORRECTION: FRONT SUSPENSION CAM BOLTS, CAM WASHERS AND NUTS WILL BE REPLACED WITH COMPONENTS OF A DIFFERENT DESIGN.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1993041.
