Issue: rnOn certain G5 electric buses built on a Ford chassis, the AC charging harness could overheat while using a Level 2 charger. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA charging harness that overheats could create a fire risk. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMicro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a local dealer. Ecotuned Technologies will provide parts and instructions for how to correct this defect. Until the recall repairs are completed, Micro Bird advises to charge your bus using outside charging equipment only and to keep a safe distance between vehicles and buildings during charging.
