Issue: rnOn certain aerial devices, the hydraulic feeder tube could become damaged by contact with the cylinder rest bracket. As a result, the feeder tube could leak oil. If this happens, there could be an uncontrolled movement of the boom.rnrnSafety Risk: rnUncontrolled boom movement could increase the risk of injury to the operator and nearby people.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnAltec Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact Altec Service to inspect and, if necessary, replace the cylinder rest pad and feeder tube. To reduce the safety risk, Altec advises to periodically inspect the feeder tube for signs of damage until the recall repairs are completed.
