On certain trailers, the cross channel between the front and rear suspension hangers could break. If undetected, this breakage could cause the frame to flex and crack, leading to possible loss of suspension. The loss of suspension may cause crash resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect the area of concern, replace the existing channels with a new style, and repair any existing cracks in the frame.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2010057.
